This has become more prevalent in the past couple of months with the new algorithm that G has brought in. What we should all aim to be providing on our own websites are unique articles. They will rank a lot higher than duplicate ones on other sites if someone copies your article and puts it on theirs. In fact I would never put an article on my site more than once, even if it were spun.
