Imagine washing your dishes by hand. Thank heavens for the 24 in built in dishwasher.

It is not that long ago that all the dirty dishes were put in the sink, the washing up liquid was squirted in and we all got our hands wrinkled while we did the washing up.

Fortunately those days have passed now for the majority of people with the onset of the dishwasher. The first ones were very basic but over the years they have become very sophisticated. They now have many cycles and some say that they have even become too complicated.

It wasn’t long though before people started making them a feature in their kitchen and they were integrated, usually under the working surface. The most popular size today seems to be the 24 in built in dishwasher.
